“Success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It’s what you do for others.” -Danny Thomas

As the new year approaches, I sit and think about what our team at Reawakenings Wellness Center has done in 2015 that has not only impacted my life, but the life of others. I feel such a sense of gratitude to all of those who have helped me achieve my goals and have helped me to help others. Real fulfillment comes from helping others. Everything else is just temporary. Reawakenings Wellness Center can only hope that 2016 can enable us to continue to make this world a better place.

Being part of the Rewakenings Wellness Center team has been such a proud accomplishment in my life. It’s amazing what can get done when you work with a group of people who are like family. Determined people working together can do anything. Reawakenings Wellness Center employs over 70 people and gives business to over 20 vendors. This year we have provided and average of 7 scholarships a month, which is over 2100 bed nights helping those in need and struggling from addiction. The appreciation seen from family members and loved ones of those we have helped makes everything we do worth it.

In addition, Reawakening Wellness Center has proudly helped the following organizations:

FLEOA Foundation (The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association)- I along with my colleagues including Jaime Blanke and John Bottone, FLEOA National Vice President for Corporate Relations, organized and hosted a FLEOA event at Il Baccio in Del Ray Beach, FL, where over 500 attendees attended and helped raise money for the family members and loved ones of federal officers that gave their lives on the job.

Assembly of God and Radiovision Christiana- RWC and myself raised funds and donated money to this wonderful foundation. In addition we also helped finance churches. Over the last couple of years Omid Dallal and Dr. Hector Atilio Chiesa have helped finance several churches in the North East Region. Dr Hector Atilio Chiesa, you are an amazing man and your help and guidance has helped so many people especially the Christian and Jewish community.

Chabbad house- The Reawakenings Wellness Center team, specifically including Omid Dallal, Kimberly Cramer, Steve Herz and myself have put in sweat equity and helped donate money to support Rabbi Schneur Kaplan. Rabbi Kaplan, you are a blessing to all of us and a true role model. God bless.

Addicts Mom- Our team donated money and helped raise awareness of this amazing cause. We also organized the last event, and provided web support with help of our IT director, James Seals. In addition our Creative Department helped with marketing material, providing entertainment and a speaker.

Centers of Hope Foundation- Center of Hope helps ensure that the children of Atlanta live their dreams. Former NFL player, Keith Mccants and our publicist Belinda Foster and I along with the Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed, have helped raise awareness to children in need of help.

In conclusion to this reflection and to the year 2015, we want to thank the whole Reawakenings team for their great work and dedication to help society and raise awareness, while helping those in need. The only way to change this world is by being selfless. Through TLC Recovery™ we will help turn over a new leaf and start this new year the right way.
